In my last post I talked about the B.U.D.’S Foundation and all the good works that their members/volunteers do to promote motorcycle safety and to assist families in connection with motorcyclists who are injured or have lost their lives in motorcycle accidents. Each year the B.U.D.’S Foundation organizes a Fallen Riders Fundraisers Weekend. In recent years past the weekend event occurred in Rocky Mount, North Carolina and Smithfield, North Carolina. The 2019 Fallen Rider’s Fundraiser Weekend took place recently in Garner, North Carolina. I had the privilege of sponsoring the B.U.D.’S Foundation again this year and speaking at this year’s Fallen Riders Fundraisers Weekend Celebration of Life Cookout & Unity in the Motorcycle Community event that took place at Team Powersports in Garner that was part of the weekend activities. What struck me during the Celebration event was the support from local motorcycle clubs, groups, and ministries that attended the event. I counted 24, and I am sure that I missed a few. I thought in this post I would acknowledge these motorcycle clubs, groups and ministries that I saw during this year’s Fallen Riders Fundraisers Weekend Celebration of Life Cookout & Unity in the Motorcycle Community event.
